Creating A Windows Share
By creating a Windows share, you are making a folder available to other users on other computers. Follow the steps below to create a share:
In Explorer, go to the folder you wish to share, right-click it and choose Share...
Click on Advanced Sharing...
Select Share this folder and, optionally, change the name by which it will be known. If you do not make any changes to the default permissions, everyone can connect and read the folder, its files and subfolders. If you wish to change the permissions, click on Permissions and make the changes you need. Otherwise, click Apply, OK then Close. The share will now be available to other computers, though the connection on those computers will need to be created first.
